i dont know what to choose, maybe someone elses opinion will help. My car is a 71 blue with white SS stripes chevelle. I am thinking of 16x8's torq thrust d's all around. I am thinking of 17x11 chrome torq thrust 2's and 17x9.5 in front. Would that be too much rim?? what will fit my wheel well? what will look good? All suggestions welcome.

If you want the larger diameter, go with Torq Thrust II Classics-- they have the centers grey crinkle coated like the D's. I'm running a set of 17" TT2 Classics (needed them to clear the brakes) on my '69 and really like them. They're custom order and take 4-8 weeks.
Honestly, unless you have brakes that need the big wheels I'd try to stay with 15 or 16". Going bigger only increases your wheel and tire cost.

Yeah, but they look so damn good! *he says while making plans to go to the junkyard for some steel wheels/dog dishes...* http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif
I always wanted big wheels on something. The last TT2 I bought were for my '36 ford and they were 15s. I should have gotten 17s though. Didn't have the extra money.
