My project is a 65 malibu SS convertible L79 that has a bastardized history
1. Does anyone sell replacement inner and outer wheel wells for the 65 convertible?
(I am figuring no)
2. What modifications must be made to the new hard top wheel wells to get them to fit?
(The cutting the bottom of the wheel well off and just replacing that section procedure has been done before, and poorly causing my problems!)
3. Does anyone have pictures of this replacement?

OPG sells steel inner for 1965 $200 each. Go on line www.opgi.com. I have a 64 convert I finished it about five years ago..

So I just got off the phone with OPGI and they said they do not carry this product, and never have. I am pretty sure the only available wheel wells for 65's is for the hard top.

Am I getting correct information, there website and Cat. say the same thing.
So my original question stands any ideas

So let me rephrase the question

How does one modify 65 HARDTOP rear wheelwells, inner and outer because both are different to fit a 65 CONVERTIBLE ?

G alert will monitor any old part for sale. Just set you description to keep it narrowed to what you are really are looking for otherwise you will get a response for fenders not inner. You can go back and modify your search if the response it to broad. Remember 64 65 are the same

I bought the hard top outers , cut the bad part out and butt welded the new peice in. My inners were fine.
