I'm looking for a set of 15x8 Hurricane (or turbine) style rims for my elky. Preferrably 16 spoke. In case you don't know them by name, the van from the A-Team had hurricanes with the spokes painted red. The General Lee from Dukes of Hazzard had hurricanes, but they were 10-spoke. I'm looking for a few more spokes. I can't find these wheels anywhere, but every tire store I ask says that people get rid of them all the time. Does anybody have a set in their backyard?

I'm in the northwest U.S. - unfortunately, if you live far away, I won't be able to take them off your hands unless you're headed up this way sometime.

I see them all the time in CT at teh junkyard but the sh.t is beat out of them. Most privae garages hav them andturn them into clocks. lol
check bargainnews.com once and a while. ive seen them there once or twice.

How many spokes? What size are they?

Western Wheel makes (made?) them. Popular in the late seventies & early eighties.

Ok I just looked at them and they are 15x8.5 with about 3.5" of backspacing And they have ten spokes. I have a set of four. thanks

Are they slotted (unilug) or fitted for a chevelle bolt pattern?

Well they are fit for a Chevelle\El Camino because they came off my 71' El Camino. So they should fit.

Also, what I mean is do they have the slotted lugnut holes to fit multiple bolt patterns, or the round lugnut holes that will only fit chevelle? I've seen a lot of these hurricanes that have the unilug that will fit a chevelle just because they fit every bolt pattern from 4 inch to 5 inch. These unilugs would fit an elky, but they'd also fit a dodge dart or a mustang.

Ok there are 2 rims that have the single hole and 2 that have the unilug. All four are 15x8.5 with 3.5" backspacing. I'm asking $125 plus shipping. I'll send you some pictures of them soon. Thanks

i might have just what ur looking for , cept mine are 5 on 5 1/2 lug patern but there the tubo rims bout 12-16 spoke might be 14 , i know thers more then 10 lol, but they got 235x8.5 tread in real good shape, im askin 125$ for all 4 of em, you can email me or im me if ya want more info, btw im wa state up here in the north west :) thought id let ya know i got some and im trying to sell em too......
