Guys, I am looking at a 72 SS turned Pro-Touring. Currently has a 383 stroker, built 400th, Ford 9" rear w/3.73 gears, 20g fuel cell, frame off, new paint, kind of a jink dash w/updated gauges, racing buckets, not tubbed, original balance of interior, after market air. It's a straight car, nice paint, lots of chrome under the hood, great appearance.

So, my question is, I can look up any number of value guides on a 72 SS, but what is the real value of a car that has been altered like this?

Thanks in advance!

Chances are that it's not a true, proveable SS anyhow, so take that out of the worth equation. With no pictures I can say the car is only worth as much as you're willing to pay for it.
