Just wondering if anyone can confirm this tire with 0 backspace wheel to work at stock ride height.

I don't see why not.
I'm running a 235/45-17 on the front of my '67...and it's lowered about 2".

stock 14" wheels w/205/75/14 diameter was 26.1" overall.

Okay, thanks. Car has 205/70 right now and it looks like there would be plenty of room, but I wanted to be sure.
