Just finished replacing my header collectors using aluminum collectors. My flanges won't seal tightly.. Should I just bend and bend till it seals as best as possible, or go weld the things? Did I put the collectors in backwards?

Most outlet cones are made with a bend in them. Turn it until you get the right angle. Could be you have something different, but usually they are made pretty universal. I try not to put a lot of stress on this connection if possible. New gasket with a bead of hi temp red silicone usually does the job. tom
