: Centerline Auto Drag dimensions please

If anyone has a pair of Centerline Auto Drag 15x10 wheels, with somewhere in the 5-5.5" backspacing area, could you please measure the inside diameter of the 'barrel' on the backside of the wheel down to the 'drop center', and post the min/max dimensions? I also need to know the thickness of the 'drop center' measured from the mounting surface.
This information is much needed to ensure that new wheels will clear my rear calipers.
Thanks BIGTIME for any effort.

I think centerline auto/drags only come in 3 5/16" and 4 7/8" backspace.

The counter guy said they were available in 5.5, but I haven't spoken to Centerline yet. Regardless, if that's the case, I need the measurements on the 4 7/8 backspacing, if anyone has them.

My crude measurements with a tape measure on my 8.5 auto drags with 4 7/8" backspace are...( all measurements are approxamate http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

The barrel necks down from 14 3/8" to 13 1/4"

By thickness of the drop center are you talking the amount of drop? or actual rim thickness???

The mount or rim thickness is about.. 3/4" from inside of pad to outside of rim...

The drop goes from a 1/2" next to the mount to about an 1" next to the rim...(That is measured on top of the rivets)

The inside of the 8.5" modular rim is probably the same as used on the 10" rim. The 10" would have a deeper dish peice on the outboard side.

Hope this helps.. All measurements taken by a nearsighted 39 year old http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

All good info! Keep it comin'. I don't want to be selling new wheels on ebay due to fitment issues.
The drop center is the only part of the wheel that may interfere, and the dimension I'm after is the diameter at this point, and the depth of the drop center from the mounting surface.
Centerline hasn't responded to my e-mail query, so I might call them tomorrow and see what they can offer...they told my tire shop over the phone that the barrel diameter was 11". I told him no way.
Thanks again guys!! If I end up picking up these wheels, I'll post all pertinent data with pictures.

Just received feedback from Centerline. They replied, "15 X 10 3 5/16
15 X 10 4 7/8
15 X10 7 1/4
ONLY NO OTHER AND 13.5 AT MOUNTING PAD, AND IT FLARES OUT.."
Meaning, those are the ONLY backspacing available, and the minimum backside wheel diameter is 13.5". There apparently is no 'drop center' on these wheels, as the two halves are riveted together, giving maximum wheel clearance for disc brake hardware. According to this, these wheels WILL clear my rear disc hardware.
I will post if it turns out to be contrary.
