OURSS396 Apr 26th, 10, 11:12 PM I just purchased a 1968 SS396 Chevelle and I'm starting the restoration, I ordered a new heater control lenz and before I install it I would like to know how to take off the three chrome buttons on the sliders without breaking anything, anyone ever do this before they are on pretty tight... Carchisler Apr 27th, 10, 6:50 AM On Chevelles they just slide off. Place a rag or towel agains dash so U can pry without scratching. Work top and bottom so as to wiggle them off.
