I'm about to order wheels and i'm going to get weld rodlites. I'm stuck on the back wheel size. I want to put the biggest tire on the back as possible.
Right now i have 15x8 with 255/60 and when i put a bigger tire i don't want it to have the balloon look on the side.

if there are any pros or cons to the rim size let me know

it is more complicated then that. you need to take measure ments of your wheel wells and the relationship to where the rim mounts. figure out what back spacing is needed to center the rim in the well then choose your rim width depending on what tire you run. it depends on what profile tire you want to run and how much it bulges beyond the rim. do some searches here and you must take measurements. if you know what rims you can take measure ments from it to the wheel wells (inner and outer ) to have a base point. i used 15x 8.5 with 325-50's. i forget what the back spacing is. be sure. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

Good advice. Another thing to pass along with respect to 15x8 and 15x10 is the lower shock mount bolt. Look under your 15x8's right now and see how you are going to miss the lower shock mount bolt if you allow 1 inch of the additional 2 to be inwards. If your 2 inches is all outwards, no problem, but probably a problem with the fender lips.

depends on year of car, i run 10's on the back of my 70 with 29x12.5 mickey's but they do rub the outer-wall if i didn't put large rubber stoppers under it, if you have a 70 you can use 10's with a 5.5bs and i think 295-50 tires

you can run the 10 with out a problem just use a 5.5bs on the rim.i know, that's what i use, and other do to, my mickey thompsons rub because the bubble out a tad too much on the sides.
