I am wondering if a 15x8 with 4.5 bs and a tire with 11.9 section width will fit my chevelle with a stock 12 bolt and without any body trimming. is ther anyone running this combo. pics wud be greatly appreciated.

The 15X8 with the 4.5 bs is perfect. The 11.9 section width might be a bit tight. I run a 275/60-15 with a 11.4" section width. So you may have to trim your outer wheel well close to your wheel lip molding.

The rear tires are 275/60-15 BF Goodrich Drag Radials on 15X8 with 4.5 backspacing, the fronts are 15X7 with 4" backspacing with BFG 225/70-15's.
Here's another pic with Hoosier's Slicks they are 29/9.0-15's they have 11.4 section width. The fronts in this pic are 215/70-15 on 15X6 with 3.5 backspacing.

Dude thanks for the cool pics. In fact im tryin to fit the same slick but its a 29-10-15. I have a set of cragars ss 15x8 with 5 1/8 bs. (Btw they are custom. Sent them to stockton wheel as 15x7 and had them add 1 in. of bs so everything would work and it did well.) Anyways their on m and h 275/60/15 tires with a 11.4 section and everything fits fine. I think im going to try a 15x8 with a 5 in. bs. with the hoosier 29 10 15 with a 11.9. I think it will work. What do you think?

I think they will be close with that extra 1/2" backspacing.
