I have installed a 454 with turbo 400 and 3:73 gears in a 72 chevelle. would like to know what size tire to run 2200 rpm @ 70 mph on 15" wheels. Also what maximum size on the front without clearance problems.

You would need a 40" tire to turn 2200 rpm at 70 with your combo. You would need an overdrive trans.
