Well the seat I picked up was not a 64 seat. The guy thought just cuz it came out of his 64 then it was a 64. It`s a 68-72 style but iot`s just missing the headrests. Anyway, there have been several posts on here lately including one of my own asking if the later seats will bolt in and how they fit. I was able to work on the car today and got the seat in. The holes do line up with the factory holes but mine is going to need a little clearance work because the PO installed new floor pans and didn`t clean up the mounting hole areas very well. It`s close and I thik if I run a tap in there it`ll bolt right in but I was short on time so I just installed the front bolts. It fits really good and plenty of clearance at the doors and I can actually get in instead of wendging myself between the steering wheel and aftermarket buckets that were in there. The seat needs to be redone, new springs foam and a cover but I`m more comfortable on that seat and the 4spd shifter actually fits fine. Having the bench cover most of the floor makes the interior look better as well even though there is not a carpet yet.
