Hey all, you have been great help in the past and I know need some advice....

I got some really nice G6 seats of ebay for next to nothing thinking they would mount similar to the new GTO seats.

Now I have them and the fronts mount with hooks instead of bolts.

Now I was thinking I could.....
-- cut of the hooks and make my own adapter to bolt in into the existing
bolt holes.
--mount a piece of unistrute into the car and drill a hole through the sides
of the unistrute and the hooks then secure with a bolt.
--does anyone know if the G6 has a removable mount that I could just
transplant into my car? I will try to make to a junk yard this weekend to
check on this one.

At the time I was doing research I seem to remember finding multiple people who have done this mod but cant seem to find alot of info now.

Curious to see what those seats look like. I was thinking C5 Z06 seats or GTO seats. I have the stock buckets but I was wanting something with a little more support and comfort. Post some pics of your new seats.

They look pretty nice. Your best bet is going to be to just weld a bracket to the bottom to bolt to your original bolt holes. Did your car have factory buckets? I think if you don't add some kind of bracket to the bottom they will sit too low unless you are very tall.

Yea I am 6' or so; I keep going back and fourth with the idea of getting the seat to set up higher. When I decide what to do I will post some pics of the final setup.

Thanks for the advice!
