You guys think it would look too weird to have 15X7's in the front with 235/60R15 and 15X8's in the rear with 275/60R15? How about 255/60R15's in the rear?

Had that exact setup(15x7, 15x8, 235s, 275s) on my 68 Chevelle and looked fine and had no troubles. Still have the wheels/tires and occaisionally I will throw them back on for the nostalgic look.

Stance of the car is due to pics taken with no motor/tranny/interior in car.

235 front and 275 rear is what I have on my 66 SS. It's not a overly noticable difference in the width.

Chev-hell what size wheel and backspacing do you have in the back with those M/Ts? The reason I ask is because it looks like your car is dropped a little like mine and I'm trying find some DOT slicks to run in the back for track days.

the rears are 5.5bs on a 10" rim. but they WILL rub the inner fender on the bubble of the tire. if it was a tad narrower then they would clear, i added HUGE stoppers to keep the car from coming down onto the tire. rides rough in the rear but the tires are good suspension. i think on an 8" rim they'd work fine or even a 9" with a 5.5bs. the 5.5bs is the key as i have 1" or so still on the inside for more tire. but the rim will hit the shock tower if it's more than a 5.5bs.

ditto, i just pulled off 4x 255x45x17's and had pleanty of room in the rear for a wider tire. it made it look like a pro-tour car. (still have them for sale if anyone wants em)
