I bought a set of weld auto/drags for my 65 SS 15x3.5 and 15x8.5 w/4.875 BS. I know I will have to trim the inside of the rear wheelwell lip, does anyone know how much tire I can get under there?

I have 275/60R 15 and I have seen 295/60R 15. I haven't seen anything bigger on the back of a 65. BTW... That's my convertible and for some reason, they wont fit on my 65 Elky?

Yes, BFG 275/60R15. I'd show you a shot from the back, but the car is disassembled right now. Should be back on the road in Spring 2003.

Yes, I'll be at the Automobilia show Saturday. In fact, the Chevelle club (WACO) will be meeting at Wendy's Saturday at 5:00PM to cruise in. It would be great if you could join us! Just look for me and the wife in my 65 Elky. My wife is 6'3" so just look for the short fellow with her and that will be me http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/jeffelkyside.jpg

Also....SS396ELKY (JR) is from Wichita and 67 Malibu L79 (Robert) is from here as well. Both good friends of mine. Drop me a line at jeffc@rccl.com. It's my work mail, but I'm there all day!

Jeff,

I doubt that I'll take the Chevelle down there as it isn't too pretty yet, solid yes but not much to look at. I will look for you though. My step dad has a 78 Pace car Vette that should be down there.

If I do decide to drive it, how much is registration and where do you register?

Thanks
Brent

oops just saw your e-mail message. So I will E-Mail you.
