My headliner has been stored in the box for 10+ years. It has some serious fold/creases in the material. Will these come out after it's installed? Any way to get them out before, iron on low heat, maybe? I put the sail panel pieces in the dryer for a few minutes, it helped, but you can still see the marks.
Should I buy new, or is this not a problem?
Chris White did a great write up! I would not have attempted this before! We appreciate the information.

My headliner was in the box for 4-5 years... My creases came out... I also had a heat gun with me as I installed the top... Made the top stretch really well and made the job easier...

Took mine over to my wife's work and she used a steamer on it that she uses to get wrinkles out of the clothes her store gets, Worked great.

Not a problem IMHO. Install it and they will go away.

I had the same problem with my new vinyl roof. Yesterday it was very sunny and 70, so I laid it out in the asphalt driveway all day, and let the sun beat on it. That removed most of the big wrinkles.

Great, good news! I was expecting, buy new and throw that one out. I'm way out of my area of experience here! Should have been working on this 2 months ago. I thank everyone for the replys.
