Right now I have 235/60R14 tires on my 70 chevelle. Can someone tell me if this is the tallest tire that will fit a 14 inch rim? I'm trying to get some ground clearance for my headers.

I've see 225-75-14's. Cooper sells them, among others.

I've been kinda doing the same thing - deciding on keeping the 14's or going to 15's as I need taller tires to keep from bottoming out coming out of my driveway.

Check out tirerack.com -They list the diameter of the tires they sell. Tires with the same numbers are different depending on the manufacturer - Michlins are not as tall as Firestones or Goodyears by 1-2 inches on some tires -

Thanks for the info guys,
That website for Tirerack.com was really helpful Mike. The 225/70/14's and 225/75/14's should be plenty tall enough. About 26.5 inches.
