I have a pair of 15X8 Rally wheels with a 4 inch backspacing that I want to mount some street legal slicks on.
I know a 4.5 or 5 inch backspacing is optimal but these wheels are free and if I can get away with using them I will.
I've got a 70 chevelle lowered about 1.5 inches in the back (Hotchkis Springs). What are the biggest tires I can fit in the back?
These wheels are mainly for the track and I hear Mickey T ET streets have the best traction. Would their 26X10.5-15 or 26X11.5-15 fit? How about Hoosiers 245/60-15? BF makes a 235/60-15 that would probably fit because I have those on my car right now with 15X7 rallys and tons of room.
Any other info you need let me know.
