I bought a set of Hoosier Quick Time street slicks and the grip is great but the ride is really harsh once I get up around 40mph. The tire pressure is set at 30 lbs. Is this normal? If I adjust the tire pressure will the ride get better?

It should get better with a little less pressure, but bias plys will never perform as well as radials. On the street, I run 25psi in my ET Streets, (also bias ply). But the ride gets better when I swap on the radials, no comparison.

Would the ride get better if I use inner tubes? Also the tires are 275 60 15 but instead of rolling the wheel lip I used a taller spring, but I have ran radials with this combo and your right there's no comparison. I'll try some lower pressure and see what happens. Maybe I should post this question in the performance area and see what the drag racers say?
