I am in the process of restoring my 68 Chevelle. I was very careful to take care of the external trim as I was taking the car apart. As I have started looking at, all of my trim looks about like what you see in the pictures below. What is the best way to restore it? Do I need to get it re-chromed? Is there anything I can do myself?

Replace or replate or repo. You wouldn't want to pay to have those pits removed and rechromed.

Very costly to fill the pits and have them replated. I second the repop unless you have to have original there is no reason not to buy repop.
