I have an 83 Elky, and am wondering what is the widest and tallest wheels I can put on the rear with 15 inch rims. Thanks

15 inch rim is the tall dimension. to go taller you cant use 15" rims. as far as the width goes, you need to take some measurements from your existing wheels to see how much further you can go befor hitting something. measure the back spacing of you existing rims and add what additional rim width that comes from your measurements. keep in mind tire bulge. different tires will bulge out past the rims by different amounts. it make take a while but with some good measurements and patience setting up straight edges to get good readings you can get it real tight up there. every car will vary some depending on how the body is sitting on the frame. also if your rear suspension bushing are worn when you corner hard the rear will shift and could rub. so either give yourself pleanty of clearence or put poligraphite bushings it to eliminate the slop. good luck
