I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY 72 CHEVELL SS. I HAVE REMOVED THE OLD POINTS DIST. & REPALCED IT WITH A HEI UNIT. HOW THE HELL CAN I TRIGGER THE STOCK TACK WITH THIS DIST(HEI). SEEMS TO ME I'VE DONE THIS IN THE PAST. ANY HELP OUT THERE?

HEI has a tach output terminal, just hook up the wire to it (need to splice in a connector). But, it may not be that accurate. MSD has an inline filter that you can get (little pigtail about 6" long) with a filter wired in that cleans up the signal and makes it more accurate.

Good luck with your Chevelle. You may want to turn OFF the CAPS LOCK on your keyboard. It looks like you are yelling when you type that way.
