: Hard to find part --- NEED HELP!!!!

I'm trying to locate a wiper motor pivot/crank arm for a 1972 Chevelle. It connects to the bolt on the back of the wiper motor, sticking through the cowl, and then to the wiper transmission arm. I am having no luck finding it anywhere, Paddock, Ecklers, Summit, SS396, local Chevy dealers, local resto shops all seem to come up with nothing.
Is there anyone out there that can help me out. I'll take new, used, jury rigged, whatever! I appreciate y'alls help. I live in San Antonio. Thanks

Manx96 Apr 15th, 10, 9:26 PM Try pick n pull they had a 1970 el camino that I got some parts off of about three weeks ago and it is in a part of pick n pull that is only open on saturday from 9 to 12 (lunch time). It still had the complete wiper assembly.

Dont know if this will help you in your search, but the GM part numbers are 4939135 with recessed wipers and 4939137 without recessed wipers. I put both numbers into google and got a couple of hits.

I put the wipe pivot arm in the mail this morning @ 9:10 am... :thumbsup:
It went out Express Mail and you will have it by 12 Noon tomorrow, someone must be there to sign for it or they said it will go to the Post Office for you to come and pick up...
I will send you and E-Mail out when I get home with a Picture of the Shipping invoice...:)
