I don't have a question about what style to get,or will this size fit, or what the biggest tire size is that will fit.I want to know what things I need to consider before choosing the rim/tire size period. This is my first time to buy wheels and tires and I'm lost!! http://www.chevelles.com/forum/eek.gif
The facts--68SS396.TH400.Stock Wheel/Tires/Suspension. Parts about to be ordered: Eibach Pro-Kit springs to lower 1-2", 3.73 posi rear end, NOS Sniper 100-150hp kit,and possibly SSM Lift Bar kit(undecided).
I like to drive my car ALOT! and obviously it will see some track time.
With this base setup, what wheel/tire combo will give me the best of both worlds on the street and strip? If more info needed, please ask.

15 inch or 18's bling blinging dub dubs?

More information will help although this has been answered many times if you care to do a search.

I have the 18's and if you do a search on my name you should find the answer to either size and a picture or more of the 18's.

I like the Weld Pro stars.

If your going to drive the car a lot get 4 wheels with teh same size rims and tires so you can rotate them. If your going to race more i would get 15x4 and some 15x8`s outback. Fronts i would get cheap Pep boys tires and outback i would get some sticky E/T streets or quick time pros. 26x10.5x15`s

Example:15x8 or 15x10.5: is the decision based on looks, or is there an advantage to either.A friend says 15x10.5 is too much tire to have, and I would run slower times. Is this true? How do you know how much rim you need?
