My car has been painted for a while now and all that's lacking is the install of the roof drip rails.
For some reason I have been paranoid about this worring about messing up the paint. Any tips on a correct job ? Any company sell drip rails of better quality than others ?

Start installing at the rear and work forward.

And hook the top of the molding over the rail first then push the bottom into place.
