HELP… Can't stop!
Hey all, great forum here! I searched though all the posts for break problems but I figured I'd ask directly. I have a 70 with factory disc/drum setup. I did a full break replacement (New MC, Booster, lines, calipers, cylinders, cleaned and reused prop. and metering valve with denatured alcohol, which worked great before rebuild.)and think my new booster I got from Ground Up is bad. Has anyone else here got a new Delco booster and it was bad? Did all the vacume tests that were suggested here in the forum and still have very hard breaks. Just coasting down my driveway, it takes about 5 feet to stop. That's with as much break force I could apply. Even without the booster working it should stop though, right? Thanks for any thoughts.

Did the pedal go to the floor? Did it stay somewhere at half point and get solid? Was the car running at the time of the hard pedal?
