: Where do I buy these things?

I am going to buy myself some 15x10's for the back and I am staying with the original style wheels. My question is, what company has the best prices on them?
I am going to buy fairly soon and when I was looking though my catalogs, I noticed that they are all at least a year old. That sucks, I've lost all my new ones.
Also, what tire size do you guys think I should put on my front, which are still only going to be 14x7's because of my lack of money. I am planning on 275/60 15 for the back. Thanks guys.

I can't help you much on where the best price is for, what I am assuming are, aftermarket SS wheels. These are made by Wheel Vintiques out on the west coast somewhere, I recall. Do a search on my name on this board as I have a similar set-up now as you are planning. I left my fronts on the stock 14X7 SS wheel and I believe these are P215 70R 14 tires. I have the P275 60R 15's on the back and these are on 15X8 Wheel Vintique wheels that I called and bought direct from them last year. I actually called them direct to ask what the standard backspacing was (4.5") and about the trim ring issue (there will be a slightly larger gap than stock) and he took my order for 2 wheels and 2 trim rings right there and shipped them direct to me. I would recommend you reconsider the 15X10's on the back (Not even sure if they make them) as the 15X8's fill the well nicely and has no rubbing issues. With 15X10's you will need at least a 5.5" backspacing and it will be close to your lip if my set-up is any gage.

One benefit I found with my set-up is that the car now has a very subtle lean to the front which, to me, gives it a more aggressive stance. Hard to see closely but if you check out the link in my signature you might get the idea.

Good Luck

I called Wheel Vintiques a couple of weeks ago and was quoted just under $80 for a painted 15x10 Vette rally wheel. They'll make them with any backspacing you want, and have a very good reputation.

WV does make 15x10's but they have to be special ordered.I don't think its costs more but it'll just take alittle longer to get them.

Also,i think by reading many of the posts about 15x10's is that they will work with 295/50/15's IF you have a stock or slightly raised back end. They will rub if you have weak original springs or a lowered rear end.

15x8's with 275's fit fine with just about anything on the rear.

BUT remember all of this is from reading the other guys posts,i don't have any REAL experience with ANY of these sizes.

It also seems that on some occasions the rear shock mount will interfere with the 10" wheel, but some say it can be raised 1" if necessary.
