I have a 64 chevelle and just purchased a set of 15x7 rally wheels. The backspace is 4.25, I'm assuming to be standard?!?! My question is, what tires will give a good overall stance to the car for the front and rear? Will a 255/60 fit the rear and clear the quarter? Will a 205 - 215/60 be stretched over the fronts?
Thanks,
Ed

The 15X7 w4.25bs and 255/60 will work. You should have at least 1" of clearance between the wheel lip and the tire. You can use up to a 245 tire on the front. 215 is the smallest you should use on the 7" rim.

Hey 65camino, where exactly in Madison do you live? I just moved back from there, I lived right off Madison Blvd. on Zierdt Rd.
