Any tips on how to restore the wiper transmission arms. Like we have all have heard the repo are junk. Mine have rust on the ends where the wipers connect on. I have clean them done to bare metal again, but want to keep the rust away and what should I use to lubricate them the joints?. I plan to sent my wiper motor out to Steve Hackel from a search I have done.

Prime and paint them now. I use a stick of wax like grease that I got at the auto parts store. Your car is going to be babied and garaged the rest of it's life so don't worry about them rustiing again.

PB Blaster makes a rust preventative that I've used for other things with good results.
