First of all, I would like to say this is my first post at your killer Chevell site! Thanks to all of you that have posted great info. for all of us to enjoy! I have a BB 70 Chevelle that I want to race once in a while, my first of many questions has to do with the 15x4 convo pro wheel made by centerline. will this rim bolt up to the front with stock disc brakes from the factory? I understand this rim requires the half inch studs to be used? what kind of an undertaking is this? and if this rim will work with my setup, whats the best tire to use for this heavy rat? Is a tube required? iI figure on using the 15x8.5 with a 5 inch bs for the rear with a 28x11.5 or a 275/60x15. thanks for your inputs! Randy

the fronts should work fine, the rear you can go 28x12.5 sportsman pro's if you want (there's enough room, i've tried it) on an 8" rim believe it or not, 10 should work but may bow the tire out and it may rub when cornering. they are suppose to use tubes i believe, but the ones i tried came off a 69ss velle and he's never had tubes.

The wheels may need a LUG NUT that has a shank the size you are talking about and NOT the stud itself.
