bought a G432 filter as well as the repro ss 3pce qjet fuel lines for my BBC..... not even close to being able to get this JUNK to fit.

anyone else have the same experience with this ?

I think the lines are too long & not bent right. i.e. only 1 line will hook up to the filter...the other one is off by a country mile.

Why don't you call up the person you got them from and find out what the deal is instead of ranting off here? Maybe you got the incorrect ones for some reason. I've never had any issues with any metal lines, fuel or brake, on any car I've done.

Hey Chris what carb are you working with? I installed a Holly 750 and bought the three piece line kit from the pump to the carb. I ordered one that used the 3/8 in lines but had the new style inlet fittings. I did notice that the two tubes that went from the Y block could go more than one way. I had to figure out how they went and then it fit. I know your's is not a Holly but as mentioned above they may havesent you a wrong part. Can you take some PICS?

With the G432 filter it's the repro L34/L35 Q jet setup. I didn't have much trouble with the lines being bent right on mine but had to tweak the filter to carb line just slightly. The clocking of the fuel filter is touchy. I had to put the return line connection in the 5 o'clock position for it to fit. The big problem I had was getting the line to filter connections to seal up (they were regular steel lines). With them snugged up good they leaked severely. I mean a 4 ft dia puddle of gas under the car after about 5 seconds of idle. Had to crank the the flare nuts to near the breaking point with a flare nut wrench while holding the filter hex nuts to finally get them to seal.
