Ebay Drag Slicks (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1822515085)
These are not drag slicks, they are race tires. I imagine the sidewall is much stiffer.
If they work, I may try a set.

I'm not sure you would want them? From my understanding dont you want the sidewall to wrinkle when you launch? If the price doesn't go much higher I would try them but I dont think they would work that well…

Those slicks are good for a 13 second car, I called the guy who sells them ,There was a 1-800 # when i was looking ,He told me they will not work om any thing faster than 13 seconds. At least he was honest.

If you do go with them you may have to tube them, I know they used to punch a hold in the side wall so they couldn't be used again.

Dans70 is correct. I bought 2 after a NASCAR race in Dover a few years ago and I watched the guy slit the sidewalls with a utility knife. I would guess this is for liability reasons. I also thought about using tubes and going for a test drive but I turned them into an end table instead (hey, the wife let me do it!). I bought a NASCAR style rim from Summit and 1 tube for the top tire (to seal the bead since the sidewall was cut) and had a round piece of glass cut for the top. Looks cool, you can see the rim and lettering through the glass, and everyone seems to like it. Haven't had any traction problems either (Ha Ha). Anyway, I think $50 is a little high and shipping is probably more than you would want to pay.
