I"m a little lost on this one. First of all, why $42k? What's with the hood? Aren't those 67ss domes?

It is rare, no doubt.
Looks like it has had some custom work, incl. the hood.
Won't be seeing one at every car event you attend, that's for sure.

Thats Heymans car. Hes a member here. The hood is custom. I think its a cool car.

Don't know if he still owns the car but a gentleman from (I believe) the Wichita Area Chevelle Owners club had/has this 64 El Camino with 67 faux scoops grafted on.

I've heard of tudor (actually Tudor) style houses but never a tudor style Chevelle. :noway:

btw that term tudor is a F*RD model naming scheme.
Back in the '50s they called 'em tudors & fordors.

I think that hood looks good on there. To bad ya can;t get 2'' cowell hoods for 64-65. His left my right.
