i installed the b-quiet sound insullation after some research but now am ready for carpet.
with the carpet they sent a sound deadener mat set. a set of seven mats that lay on the floor.
should i lay these mats down on top of the b-quiet or will this cause moisture trapment? anyone else do this?
the mats are of a rubbery material and the box has "REM" on it.trhe mats are heavy but weight is not an issue for me.

The adhesive product and the carpet product work in different ways to help control the vibrations that get into the car, so if you want it to be as quiet as possible you would need both types.
Just put the mats they sent over the b-quiet and under your carpet. This morning I went out to pull a part and snagged some of the heavier dual-density undercarpet from an infiniti and a lexus and cut it to fit (more or less) from my firewall to the rear seat then slapped it on top of my raammat.

I agree with chuck. I did something like that in my car and put the mats over the adhesived stuff.

yes- i already have the mats and some of them around the console should help with sound reduction.
doing it this week coming so we will see how the carpet fits.
