Hi, the names Jesse. I just recently bought a 67 Beaumont. I found this site via google and figured I'd join up to learn more about restoring this thing. Anyways heres a few pics I have of it:

Welcome, looks like you have a nice project there! If you want to post your trim tag info, there are people that can tell you more about the car. Also GM vintage vehicle services provides documentation on how your car was originally equipped. What are you plans for it?

Also I am in need of a few trim parts. One headlight bezel and that chrome piece on the drivers side fender. Other than Boneyards and such, where is a good place to find these items?

Thanks.

more than likely if you try asking for the headlight trim on canadianponcho.com someone will come up with one... that site is the best for beaumont owners and a wealth of info. the fender eyebrow is hard to find in nice shape used...they are out there and they can be restored, there is someone reproducing them (for sale on ebay right now)... i've heard they don't fit too well though...

Planning to build it into a street car/driver. The car was sitting for the past 8 years, till I snagged it up and got it running this past weekend. It is a real solid car with a fairly straight body. Just a bit rough around the edges for now.

Thanks for the reply. I will have to check that ebay and canadianponchos out.

Got another question, how similar are chevelles to these cars? They appear to be quite close. It is in dire need of a restyle on the inside. That is why I pose that question. Its probably a long shot that the interiors are the same or even remotely close.

Great find Jesse!

welcome to the world of Beaumonts. They share many components with Chevelles and a few pieces with GTO's. Unfortunately, there are a bunch of Beaumont-only pieces that are not reproduced by anyone and since there weren't many of the cars produced in the first place, it can be a challenge to track the pieces down. Tail light lenses, grill and headlight bucket pieces, trim and emblems are classic trouble pieces. Keep watching eBay as some components do come up. Also log onto the Canadian Poncho forum. There's a great bunch of very knowledgeable and helpful folks over there.

The pieces are out there - but they can take awhile to find.

Welcome to the site. It looks like you have a good solid project. There are a couple places that I know of that have some Beaumont parts, Dale's Musclecar Parts and Musclecar Universe. You can also check on Ebay for user happyeater. I think he has some 67 parts listed now. See the links below for all of the ones I mentioned.

Hi Jess, the entire interior (except for the dash and steering wheel) is from a 67 chevelle... so you will have no problem getting a new interior kit! you will have to find some A-body buckets (with the button to flip the seat down on the side, and they used the metal pans on the back of the bucket-newer A-body used plastic)... the dash is similar to a 66 lemans, the optional dash tach is from a 64 gto (available repro). Hard to tell for sure without your VIN number, but your car looks like it may have an Custom model with 6 cyl., the chrome around the rear letter is from a Custom, but you are missing the side body chrome, which isn't reproduced, and you don't have the V8 emblem on the front fender. It's easier to make an SD clone out of the car than to find Custom chrome in good condition, 67SD emblems are all reproduced (except the wider trim around the rear letters which is near impossible to find).

I can send you pics of all these things if you need for reference.
