Anybody out there running American Racing 15x8 on the rear of a 66 or 67 Chevelle. I want to mount BFG 275r60-15 drag radials on them and am concerned that they only have a 4 inch backspacing. I've already discovered some other folks running this set-up with 4.5 inch backspacing and would just like a confirmation that it'll work with 4 inch backspacing before I fork out the cash for the rims. Thanks Lance

Vance,

I recently checkedout the Torq II's at a American Racing warehouse here in KC/KS and found out you can now order a 2 piece rim with the Torq rims. Two piece meaning you can specify where the center is welded in the barrel of th rim. So if you are looking to run a specific size tire you can have a set of Torq rims custom fit for your application.
