what is the widest street slicks that anyone has ran without modifying the fender lips on a 65 SS chevelle. also what is a safe side clearance. i also need to know the wheel offset on a 15X8 wheel. currently i have 17X8's with 5" backspacing with 255 45 17's. i have a little more room on the inside than the outside. my section width is 9 7/8".
