: 67 L78 restoration progress & pics
driller Apr 5th, 10, 7:59 PM First off the motor (short block) should be done in a week or two. Heads (391's) and muncie trans were finished a couple of weeks ago. Have been working on the frame for a few weeks and Dave Birdwell came out today to prime. He even makes housecalls. :beers: Should be ready for paint in a few days. All the suspension is done including the rear and is ready for installation. Hopefully will be able to start the body work next week and get the brake and fuel lines ordered.

IDS Blast
They're up north of 70 off Post rd. They use different stuff on the inside and bottom, then soda on the outside skin. Thats the only way they will do it. I'm not real fond of the soda, but if you want the outside done, its your only option there. They've had to buy a couple of cars becasue the sheetmetal warped using other media on the skin.

OK thanks. They must have a way of neutralizing the soda. I'd be nervous about that too.
