I've had excellent luck with this one from Summit

I've had two thermostat failures; failing closed. First was a 30 year old GM part, second was a Robertshaw 17 months old. I'd just buy a new GM/Delco/AC part.

In today's world there is no assurance that a new part from any vendor/manufacturer will be good. In the past I bought only Delco parts. Today they fail about as often as everyone else.
