I am considering putting in a floor shifter in my '72 with a TH350 but am keeping the bench seat. It seems like there may be a problem having to reach forward for the stick. I have done some reading here and Summit's web site now I would appreciate your experiences please. The 3 that may work I think are:

B&M Megashifter - 6" stick and many good comments

B&M Truck Megashifter - same setup and 6" stick but whole unit is 2" taller than above

B&M Quicksilver - 6" stick and a few more good comments than Megashifter

These things are not that cheap so I want to make sure I am not stuck with something I will not like.

Darren , you will not be happy with the quicksilver. You have to pull up on the stick to get it out of park,and it will be very close to the dash. Ask me how i know. I put a B&M pro ratchet shifter in mine and am very please with it. You should maybe consider it, you won't be disappointed. My quicksilver didn't last more than 1 drive in mine before it got pulled!
