Well, it took some trimming, grinding and wheel opening lip rolling, but I managed to fit the 345/55 x 15" BFG Drag Radials under my 71 Chevelle. They are real close to the frame and the wheel opening. I honestly think this is THE biggest tire that can be fit under a non-tubbed Chevelle without jacking the rear of the car up. They are mounted on 10" wide Weld Draglites with 5 1/2" backspacing. The weather has been bad here, so I haven't taken a test drive yet. I will take some pictures tomorrow.
