I have a 67 Chevelle 10 bolt rear end (original 3:07) with a casting date 8/66, it now has GM 3:73 gears dated I think 2/71 (less than 5000 miles on them) and a GM posi carrier (same mileage) bought from a GM dealer, 25 years ago, can't remember the date on the carrier. It has been rebuilt (bearings and seals) and since not driven. Great axles, bushings (new), wheel cylinders, brake lines-hose and brake backing plates, it was repainted/rebuilt 20 years ago and sitting on a rack ever since. I'd like to sell it and I have not been following what it's worth. It came out of a Tucson, AZ car with zero rust. Can someone give me an idea of it's value? Thanks

67 12 bolt would be in the $1500-$2000 range. I suspect a 10 bolt would be quite a bit less. 3.07 gears only in a 12 bolt, most likley 3.08 for a 12 bolt.

I have a friend who owes me one, from a trade 15 years ago. It's a 3.08 single trac rear, and I figure I am owed $100-150 max. With the posi, and all the stuff you described, if someone needed it, I think $500-700.

I might be looking for 10 or 12 bolt for my 67 Elcamino, but want higher gears as the 12 bolt I have has 3:55's and I'm thinking of putting whole car back towards stock for better cruising. This Tucson weather is almost year round cruising. Jay
