i have to put the brass tubing through the firewall to hook up the oil sending switch.
does anyone make a grommet to fit that small hole for the tubing?

Just a thought but I used to buy them for running thermostat wire through holes in furnace/air-conditioner sheet metal cabinets from my local electrical wholesale house.

Auto Meter makes some of these grommets as well. You could also find them at most hardware stores. Heck, Home Depot will probably have the grommets you need as well.

Hillman or Jandorf box at local hardware store.

I got one from a Camaro repro parts vendor. Not exactly like the original, but it worked.
