Check out the new pictures in the bottom of my sig.
My wife got me the wheels for Christmas. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
She knew I was too cheap to spend the cash, so she got em for me.
Compare them to the rallys in the top pic.
I've wanted these wheels, on a 68 velle before I even had the car.
I just think they look Right, for the car.

The wheels are 15"x7" with 215-65-15s front, and 275-60-15s rear tires.

Thad,

Car looks like a million bucks. I'm a big Rally fan on '68 cars, but those look so good. That's the look I was going for with my SS Rims. Love it!

Dave, Thanks, and I really like the Z-28 rims on your car. That was an option I was concidering too. Those are one of the best looking factory wheels ever.
I think the sizing options, of the rally, is the only reason, more people don't choose the Z, late SS rim.
I discussed a deal at the last Fall Carlisle, with a guy I felt was acceptable for a set of those wheels, but had already walked 10 miles, figured, I go back closer to the end of the day, but was too pooped.

HawaiianCamaro, Thanks, But I think I'll hang on to the rallys. Besides the shipping to "Paradise on Earth", might be more than the wheels are worth. Is Hawaii as nice as it looks on T.V. ? Cause you know if you buy the ticket, I'll bring em to you myself. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif free !

Hawaiian, One hula girl will do, as I'm getting old. But don't take that to mean I want an old hula girl, even though, I sure she'd still be very nice. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
To make it worse, I nabbed the rallys for free from my brother, when he got New Drag lite welds. Couldn't I just rub that in, "Hey Bro, remember those rallys, well I'm going to Hawaii, with them !".
So tell me, is it really THAT Nice there ?

Wheels look good on your 68 Thad. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/cool.gif

I had a US wheel version on mine when it was first being put together. If you look in the pic you will see that the rears had an unusable offset for the 275/60s. I had to run quite a bit of air in threar shocks to keep from rubbing.Wheels needed to be polished so I took them off and ended up not putting them back on. Went to chrome ralleys with 295/50s for a while and then ended up on draglits...for now. Been thinking about some thing different, not sure what.
here is the pic>>US Wheel TT (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/ace841a.jpg)
The pics were taken right after Old Blue came out of the paintshop and I had installed the exterior trim. The car sits high since it was sans interior and drivetrain. Anyways I like the looks of your 68. Good Luck

Jeff great looking machine also. i like how it sits even though its less the drivetrain. Looks like it would run anything over that got in its way.
