Will a M/T E.T street 28-12-50 or 30-12-50 fit in a 68 stock wheel well with 15X10 and 5.5" B.S?

Which would you choose?

Thanks

Not sure if a 71 is same as a 68, but I have put 12.50 x 29 MT Sprotsman Pro's under my 71 and my previous 72 with the 5.5" backspacing. I did have to trim the wheel opening lips and beat on the inner wheelhouse to keep them from rubbing. The 28" tires would come closer to fitting without modifications, but it will still be close.

Just read your post again. I have used 30" tall ET Streets also and they rubbed even with the trimming and beating I did on my 71. The rubbing was slight, but annoying especially on a thin sidewall tire. I did have success fitting 13.50 x 28 ET Streets without rubbing. Unfortunately, they are a bit too short for my car.

It's a BIGGER block!
