Ok this is what I have, I bought a complete wiring kit from American Wire. My question is what else do I need to make my engine run.
My engine is A BBC I plan on getting the MSD Ignition easy kit 121-85551k. The kit includes a pro billet distributor, Blaster 2 coil, and 6al ignition box with the 8.5 wires.
What about voltage regulator ? I don't see one in my wiring kit.
But it does say something about a ballist resistor ??? I've looked up the wiring diagram on the MSD web site and I didn't see a diagram that showed the ballist/ voltage along with the Full MSD kit.
Am I missing something here ?? Any help would be great.

Thanks

Not sure what you have exactly, but you would most likely you would have better luck if your questions were more specific. As for the voltage regulator, are you going with a one wire newer alternator? The voltage regulators are built in to these alternators so no external regulator needed like in the older models. The ballast resistor drops the voltage going to the coil, most likely the after market distributor does not require this drop. Hope this helps.

I'm new at this, so here is what I have done. New AAW wire kit, new 12si alt, starter, battery, pertronix flame thrower HEI, good grounding, and it fired up.
