I installed the 4019s (upper rears)on my car and is it normal to have some play between the rubber bushings on the housing and the control arm? I assumed they would of had a tight fit.

The bushings are narrower than the boxed mount.

Thanks

I have the 4026 upper adjustable set on my 10 bolt 66. Poly front, and stock rubber at the housing. They fit perfectly. Slipped into place and clamped tight.

I would call UMI, they seemed quite knowledgable. That said, I believe I have used other types of bushings that had spacers, so that may be an option.

We allow a little bit of spacing for over sized bushings, usually .050". When you tighten them up it will compress inward.

Hope that helps,
