I'm looking for the offset for the five spoke SS rims for the 71/72 cars. If anyone could post that it would help me out alot.

I've got these on my '68. I measured 4" BS, but read somewhere that they are 4 1/8" BS.

Anyone else?

I have a set of rims AU 15 x 7 JJ just got them with no tires. If you tell me what exacly to meaure I will be glad to no problem.

John, you need to take a straight edge or ruler across the back of the rim from one side to the other.

Then take a tape measure and measure down from the straight edge to the inside of the rim the touches the drum or spindel.

I believe that is the correct method.

I measured 5 rims last night. These are date matched set of 2 and set of 3, all stamped
AU 15 x 7 JJ rims.
The set of 2 measured 2 1/4".
The set of 3 measured 2 1/4" - 2 5/16".
There's kind of a sharp edge around these 3 where tooling may have been dull but on the average there all 2 1/4" +1/32" -0/0".

Thats odd that dreinecke measured 4" and thought he read 4 1/8".
I thought I read somewhere they were 4 1/2".
Are the rims you what supposed to AU stamped.

John, are you measuring all the way down to the back of the rim. That seems a little shallow for these cars. Check this web page HERE (http://www.wheeladapter.com/check_backspacing.asp).I hope this rims are deeper than that.
