I am curious as to how much any of you know about Strange Engineering rear ends. I have talked to Moser, Currie and DTS and price wise I can get the Strange S-60 for my '67 Chevelle for about $700 cheaper than anything else I've priced. The car has a SBC with around 400hp and is basically a cruiser with the occasional burn out. My question would be. Are they quiet, will it last, any problems, etc. I am wanting to order something soon due to my 8.2 10 bolt calling it quits and the weather here in Indy is very nice right now. Thanks Everyone and keep up the good work.

The S60 should be very strong. It has a much larger ring gear than the other popular rear ends and 35 spline axles. I can't say if it will be quiet or not.

Roger,

I was wondering if you ordered the S60 and if not what did you go with? I was looking into the same for my 66.

will the stock driveshaft work with the S60? if so it may be cheaper then the moser 12 bolt.
