I wanted to know from the guys that are running 15 x 10's with a 275 or 295 tire. are they decent for the street? how do they turn? What front rims and tires are you running?
Not to long ago I heard they really $ucked for street use (potholes and such) thanks guys much appreciated..

I have 255/60/15's on 15x8" rims on front and 295/50/15's on 15x10" rims on back. I figures it would drive like my high school car with N50 bias ply tires but was really surprised how well it drives. I raised the rear so it rides stiffer in the rear but all in all not bad. Last month I took it out for a 200 mile drive (65 degrees in January in Minnesota)and never had a tire rub. I drove about 75-80 down the interstate and can let go of the wheel and run straight down the road. I can turn as tight as it will go and not rub the front tires. As for pot holes it does not feel any different than before. The only thing I noticed that I don't like is if there is a big ridge in the center of the highway it will pull it across. Everyone told me it would ride like a lumber wagon but I've rode in rougher, newer sports cars. Call me crazy but I'm happy with the ride.

I second that. I'm using 275/60/15's in the back on 15x10's and 235/60/15's on the front on 15x8's. I have cargo springs in the back so the ride is gonna be rough no matter what, however I don't think the ride is any rougher than it would be with smaller tires. Turning is just fine also, and if I need to turn sharper I can just whip the back end out a bit http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif
